On a beautiful fall day in October 2006 I was walking through a local park. I encountered this being who was about 2-3 feet high. He had black curly hair and a tan cap on his head. He had thick tan skin, brown eyes and a bulbous nose. He felt very earthy. He was wearing earth colored clothes. Our eyes me and my very first thought was "There's that being again!" and my second thought was "Again?!? Where had I seen this being before?" To this day I am not sure...
Our eyes met and I felt like he wanted me to know something. He was doing something, he had a purpose or a project but I couldn't tell what it was right away. Our eyes remained locked for a few moments then he disappeared and I kept walking. It looked like he was working with the trees. His consciousness was very striking to me. It was so different from human consciousness and was very foreign to me. The structure of the being's consciousness was like nothing I had ever felt before. I did not get any feelings from this being. My sense was that they don't have feelings as we do. I did get a sense of caution from him. It felt like he was being very cautious about me-- but also wanted me to see what he was doing. I believe he was a nature spirit who was responsible for using the shaping force to shape the colors of the fall foliage.
I've been back to that spot many times and have not seen this nature spirit again. I have felt the presence of nature spirits in the park but nothing as vivid as this experience.
