Visit with a deceased relative

My cousin whom I was close to died of leukemia on 12/22/05. I decided I want to travel to where he was to visit with him. Before falling asleep I let my attention drop into my heart center and imagined a beam of light connecting my heart to his heart. As I was falling asleep I imagined this beam of light getting shorter and shorter.

To give some background on the experience: on 12/23/05 I decide that I want a keepsake/memento of some sort to remember him by so I call and leave a message for his wife telling her this request of mine. So on 12/24/05 I dream I see my cousin and he is looking at a bunch of photographs. I say to him “Hey, you can see now!” and he says happily “Yeah, I can see now.” (He slowly lost his vision during the course of his illness and it broke his heart.) He was looking at all these different pictures and pulled one out and handed it to me and said "I want you to have this as a keepsake. This is how I will always remember you and our connection."

I believe the photographs were part of his life review process. He was reviewing all of the relationships he had developed during his lifetime. I also got my keepsake, although it is energetic. The fact that I immediately noticed his restored vision and the quality of joy in his response was quite striking and for me affirmed that this was a true connection.
